A Bible-based community in the heart of Montreal
Eglise Paix Divine is an evangelical Christian church and a religious corporation under Quebec law, drawing on evangelical, Pentecostal, and Methodist traditions to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
Our story
Eglise Paix Divine was raised up as a community of believers committed to the authority of Scripture, the lordship of Jesus Christ, and the present work of the Holy Spirit. From our beginnings, we have gathered to worship, to be taught the Word, to pray, and to send one another out as witnesses in our city and beyond.
We carry an evangelical conviction, a Pentecostal expectation of the Spirit's gifts and power, and a Methodist passion for ordered, fruitful discipleship. Together these shape a church that is rooted, warm, and missional.
Today we serve a multicultural congregation in Montreal, with particular care for immigrants, refugees, and newcomers seeking a spiritual home.
Statement of Faith

Our doctrine summarizes the heart of historic Christian faith, expressed in our evangelical and Pentecostal-Methodist heritage.
The Holy Scriptures
The Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, the supreme rule for faith and conduct.
God in Three Persons
One eternal God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory.
Jesus Christ, Eternal Son
Fully God and fully man, conceived by the Spirit, crucified, risen, ascended, reigning.
The Holy Spirit
The Comforter who convicts, regenerates, indwells, fills, and empowers believers.
The Fall of Man
Humanity is created in God's image, fallen through sin, and in need of redemption.
Salvation by Grace
Forgiveness and new life are received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Water Baptism and Communion
Two ordinances given by Christ to declare and remember His finished work.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
A Spirit-empowering distinct from regeneration for witness and service.
Sanctification
The lifelong work of the Spirit conforming believers to Christ's likeness.
The Church
The body of Christ, gathered to worship, edify, and proclaim the Gospel.
Ministry
Christ gives ministers to equip His people for the work of the ministry.
Divine Healing
Healing for the body is part of the atoning work of Jesus Christ.
Christ's Return
The blessed hope of the imminent and personal return of our Lord.
Final Judgment and Eternity
Every person will give account, and the redeemed will dwell with God forever.

Governance
EPD is structured to serve the body of Christ with integrity. The Senior Pastor leads vision and shepherding; the Executive Pastor oversees operations; Department Heads coordinate ministries; the Church Council and Board of Directors steward decisions; the General Assembly represents the members of the corporation.
